Evan and Emily married in January 2025 at the Garibaldina Society, hosting more than three hundred friends and family for a night that felt equal parts wedding and hometown show. As LA natives and members of Emily Rose and the Rounders, they never planned on a traditional reception—so the moment the vows were done, the room shifted naturally into a full-scale performance. Friends from their musical community rotated on and off the stage, turning the evening into a loose, cool as hell celebration of the life they’ve built together.

What none of us knew then was how quickly the world around us would change. Just days later, the LA fires began, casting the memory of that night in a sharper light. Being surrounded by so many people they love—laughing, singing, and sharing space—became a reminder of how fragile and precious all of our circles truly are, and how important it is to take every chance to celebrate the good moments together!

The classic Jewish ceremony with vibrant Nefesh young Jewish community leader Rabbi Aaron Leven was a sweet blend of their modern faith tied to deep family traditions. Followed by a party that was loud, communal, and authentically “Emily and Evan”, it captured the spirit of the couple and the community that sustains them! roof that celebrating joy in life is worth investing in and showing up for every time.
